Maggie Goodlander of Portsmouth: A Nashua native, Goodlander is currently practicing law at Skadden, Arps and maintains a robust pro bono practice in New Hampshire while also serving as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Since graduating from Yale University in 2009, she has served in legal and policy positions in each branch of the federal government. From 2009 through 2013, Goodlander worked in the United States Senate, first as advisor to Sen. Joseph Lieberman and the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee and later as a senior advisor to Sen. John McCain. After graduating from Yale Law School in 2016, she went on to serve as a law clerk to Chief Judge Merrick Garland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and Justice Stephen Breyer of the U.S. Supreme Court.
