8 June 2020 Dear Friends: I have filed for Hillsborough County Treasurer and am asking for your support.  The County Treasurer collects the county property tax from municipalities, oversees financial accounts, and invests county funds.  The Treasurer is the signatory on the county’s financial accounts and works with the Business Office to maintain the integrity and security of county funds.  All income derived from the investments are returned to the Treasury and is used to offset the tax rate. As a court-appointed guardian of an incapacitated person, I have been a bonded fiduciary for the last 14 years.  I both submit annual accounts and examine those of other guardians to ensure that their wards are receiving competent and helpful service.  I believe I can diligently and competently serve as County Treasurer.  While I had filed to run for State Representative in District 38, the unexpected entry of a third candidate after my own filing makes continuing to seek the District 38 seat undesirable as divisive...

Absentee ballots now available to all NH voters due to coronavirus concerns.

Your webmaster has decided to be an Absentee voter for the Sept 8 Primary, so I can share some detail first hand. The process is very easy. Just use the link provided to fill out the request form. But hurry, ballots must be returned by 5PM election day. Note that the form supports applications for both the Primary and General election. If you apply for both, you will be sent only the Primary ballot for the party that you declare initially.
