My name is Derek Thibeault, I am the current chair of the Nashua Democratic City Committee and 2-term Ward 8 Alderman, and I am running again for chair. I have been part of this board, first as secretary and now as chair, for four years. I am a Nashua native. I have been a leader in the Customer Service space for almost 30 years. I am current an IVR Product Owner for Eversource. I am proud of the work the committee has done over the last four years. The current political climate will make it difficult and we need experienced leadership mixed with committee members who have new perspectives if we are going to win this year’s municipal elections. I will be proud to continue to grow this committee and KEEP Nashua blue, if I return. It’s no hyperbole to say that we are in a crisis and we need a strong committee to try to navigate through this.
