Fellow Democrats,
I am announcing my run for re-election as an at-large member of the Nashua Democratic City Committee Executive Board. I am someone who deeply understands both the grassroots and legislative aspects of Democratic politics in Nashua. As a current Ward 6 State Representative and a longtime community advocate, I have seen firsthand how crucial a strong city committee is in order to advance our Democratic values.
My position as a state legislator, combined with my 18 years of nonprofit experience, gives me the capability to bridge the gap between local organizing and state-level action. I understand the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships within our city, and I know how to effectively mobilize resources to support our Democratic candidates.
My original intent was to step back from the NDCC board this term, but I am enthusiastic about the new energy we’ve been seeing, and I want to carry that forward. Nashua is something special. Although we are the second largest city in the state, we build each other up, and we take care of one another. I am proud to call Nashua my home. I want to keep both our committee and party engaged in creating a welcoming and inclusive space.
As an at-large member of the Nashua Democratic City Committee, I will work to strengthen our party’s presence in every ward, enhance our candidate recruitment efforts, and improve our community outreach. We hope to build a stronger, more unified Democratic presence in Nashua. I believe that our best buffer against what is happening with the Trump Administration is to create strong community ties, and I want to see us build and expand on that. The recent NDCC Spaghetti Dinner was the first step in that approach.
I am asking for your vote because I believe in the power of local organizing, and I know that together is our best way forward.
Thank you.
