Sanjeev Manohar currently serves as State Representative for Ward 5 (Hillsborough District 9) in Nashua. A proud Democrat and community advocate, Sanjeev brings a strong record of public service, fiscal responsibility, and collaborative leadership to every role he takes on.

He is also a professor of chemical engineering at UMass Lowell, where he leads an active research group and teaches courses on emerging technologies and industrial chemistry. His academic career has included managing complex budgets, securing federal grants, and mentoring students and researchers.

As Treasurer, Sanjeev will bring transparency, accountability, and strategic oversight to help strengthen the NDCC’s financial health and support its grassroots organizing efforts. He is deeply committed to growing Democratic power in Nashua through responsible stewardship and community engagement.
