Representative Telerski is running for her second term as a state rep in November, 2020. She was first elected to the New Hampshire House in November, 2018. She serves as the Clerk of the House Transportation Committee, as well as the Chair of the Nashua Legislative Delegation.

Laura Damphousse Telerski grew up in Nashua’s Ward 8 neighborhood and is a product of Nashua public schools. After graduating from Nashua High School, Laura obtained a bachelor’s degree in History from Georgetown University and then a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago. Laura worked as an account executive for a number of years before she and her husband, Jason, made the decision to have a full-time parent at home.

Laura became engaged in the school community as a volunteer and served as the Bicentennial PTO President for two years, as well as the Bicentennial Volunteer Coordinator for three years. Since 2006, Laura has served as the New Hampshire State Chair for the Georgetown University Alumni Admission Program. In November of 2017, Laura served a two-year term as a Selectman for Ward 8. 

Laura and her husband, Jason, have three children.
