Representative Cote is running for his 19th term in the November 2018 election.
The Nashua Telegraph ran the following posting for David on October 28th, 2016:
“Cote, 56, is a lifelong Nashua resident and does freelance legal research. He has served as a state representative from 1982-88 and again from 1989 to present.
It has been a great privilege and honor to serve the people of Ward 4 as one of their state representatives.
The most satisfying and enjoyable part of that responsibility, for me, has not been doing my best to represent them in voting on bills, though that has also been of great satisfaction. It has been the opportunity to use my experience to help constituents with their individual problems, and also their informational needs in regard to state government. This, in turn, has helped me to know them better and therefore, I hope, to represent them better in voting on legislation.
I hope to have the opportunity to continue to exercise those responsibilities.”
2015 – 2016 SESSION:
David is the current Ranking Democrat and former Chairman of the House Election Law Committee. His views on the NH Voter Law have been published twice in the Telegraph – a Guest Commentary from April 19 and the most recent was from June 2.
